The target group
Our target group is people who have a university degree or equivalent qualification from any institution to become members of the Applied Management and Research College UK, who will share our passion to help shape its vision, mission and strategic objectives. AMRC is open to energetic people who are actively engaged in research/who are interested in seeking support to publish articles. We are also interested in having individuals join us who are passionate about advancing their careers, sharing knowledge and collaborating on real-life projects to enhance their practical skills and experience.
Who can apply for the membership?
You can be a graduate in any discipline, a master’s student, MPhil, PhD researcher or a qualified PhD.
What to expect as a member
Commitment to support and active participation
By joining this college as a member, you will agree to actively participate in the college’s activities and contribute to the support and encouragement of other members in their attempts to publish articles. Activities include, but are not limited to:
- Actively supporting candidates in their required area of academic study.
- Engaging in discussions and sharing knowledge on the college's platform.
- Attending courses, workshops, and seminars organised by the college.
- Contributing resources and expertise to support fellow members
Resources and Support
Develop resources and support services to assist new academics in the publishing process, such as workshops, seminars, access to publishing guidelines/journals, and peer review.
Mentorship and Collaboration
Experienced Academics will mentor new researchers in navigating the process of publication. This will be dependent upon the expertise, interests of research and goals of the new academic. By fostering a collaborative environment, members can connect with each other to share ideas and collaborate on research projects and co-author articles.
Eligibility Criteria of Members

Affiliate Member
To be considered an Affiliate member, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational qualification – You must have a minimum bachelor’s degree (BA or BSC) in any field.
- Commitment to research– Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing their knowledge and understanding through research. This can be demonstrated through plans for future activities.
- Ethical Conduct - Applicants must abide by a high level of ethical standards in their professional conduct and research practices. Both honesty and ethical behaviour are vital to promote trust and credibility within research.
- Contribution to the College’s Objectives - Applicants should convey how their experience and research interests can contribute to the mission of the college and how they support its objectives.
- Engagement with the College - Affiliate members will be expected to actively engage with the Research College by attending its monthly meetings, participating in discussions, supporting students who have enrolled on the College website for support & guidance and contributing to research projects.

Associate Member
To be considered as an Associate member, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational qualification – You must have a minimum of a master’s degree related to a business field or complete a research-based course with AMRC.
- Professional experience – Applicants should be able to demonstrate a profile of professional experience in the business sector/academia.
- Interest and Research – Applicants should demonstrate a genuine interest in research and have a minimum of ONE publication.
- Communication and collaboration skills – To be considered an associate member of the college, you need to possess strong communication and collaboration skills, which will demonstrate your ability to participate actively in monthly meetings, discussions, mentoring roles, and combined research projects.
- Ethical Conduct - Applicants must abide by a high level of ethical standards in their professional conduct and research practices. Both integrity and ethical behaviour are vital to the credibility and reputation of the AMRC UK.

Fellowship
To be considered as a Fellow, you must meet the following criteria:
- Academic qualifications – Applicants should hold an MPhil, or PhD in a relevant field of business or have taught in a UK university at MBA level for more than 10 years and supervised MBA and PhD students or have supervised to completion 5 Doctoral students.
- Research record and contributions – Applicants must have a distinguished record of research and scholarly achievements in the field of business. This can include high-quality publications, recognition by peers, and invitations to speak out at events and conferences. Applicants should also have a track record of innovative research contributions.
- Professional experience and mentoring – Applicants should have experience in mentoring students and new scholars and demonstrate they are committed to nurturing the next generation of researchers under the umbrella of AMRC.
- Ethical Conduct and Professional Integrity – Applicants must uphold a high standard of ethical conduct and professional integrity in their research, teaching and professional activities.
- Commitment to the college's mission – Applicants should convey how their expertise, experience and research interests will align with the mission and objectives of the college and demonstrate their commitment to actively contribute to the college's goals.

Business Members
To involve businesses in promoting research in the field of management and developing qualified managers to look after the organisation, we will request the business owners and the top management of the business organisation to join us as business members.

Honorary members
The retired professors and other professionals of high calibre will be offered honorary memberships of the college.
How do you apply to become a member of AMRC UK?
Application Process
If you are interested in becoming a member, you can apply by completing the ‘Membership Application Form.’ The application form will require you to tell us about your academic background, your research interests, your areas of expertise, and your reasons for joining.
Who approves my membership?
All membership applications will be reviewed by the College’s Membership Committee/Administrators.
Code of Conduct
All members will be expected to adhere to a code of conduct that promotes mutual respect and professionalism. Any discrimination or harassment will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of your membership.
Confidentiality
The college management will ensure the confidentiality of the personal data of the applicant and members.
Membership Renewal
All members will be required to renew their membership. The detailed rules regarding renewal will be published after approval from the competent authorities.
