What we do?

The Applied Management and Research College UK (AMRC UK) is an online institution where graduates in different disciplines, together with researchers, academics and practitioners are given an opportunity to participate in short-term CPD programmes or work towards long term CPD programmes which will offer them qualifications such as Affiliated member, Associate member and Fellowship member of AMRC UK. Building upon their previous qualifications and experience, the College will enhance members market value. The candidates enrolled in the programme are empowered to flourish in learning and improving research and applied management skills, as well as publishing articles to get recognition and better jobs. To enable participants to apply management theory in real-life business, individuals will be engaged in practical hands-on projects to enhance their employment skills. We have a dedicated team of highly qualified, experienced people keen to develop researchers for innovation and development, as well as practitioners for implementing new approaches in managing organisations in the rapidly changing business environment.

Our organisational setup and programmes

To achieve the objectives, we have established the following centres at AMRC UK:

Applied Management Centre

The Applied Management Centre focuses on actual business projects to provide candidates and members with practical training and development opportunities while also refining their managerial and leadership skills, and giving real world, real time aid to businesses.

The Consultancy Centre and Industry Chairs

Our Consultancy Centre provides consultancy and professional development services to businesses. We provide tailored solutions which will help to optimise performance and equip employees with the skills necessary to excel in their roles. Under this centre, AMRC UK will also develop industry chairs and invite business professionals to seek their support and guidance in promoting research in the field of management and developing qualified managers to look after the organisation. Under the umbrella of industry chairs business owners and senior management professionals will work together with their industry colleagues and academic researchers to identify the industry issues and find effective solutions. The industry chairs will also help to learn from the experiences of different organisations. We will develop industry chairs for large businesses and for SMEs separately. Experienced professionals from the industry will be involved to show and develop best practices and share their knowledge with other organisations and also help young graduates to learn from their experiences. This will also be a significant part of their corporate social responsibility and a source of their contribution and recognition for the development of emerging managers.

The Professional Development Training Centre

The Professional Development Training Centre offers a range of CPD training programs including personal and professional development, employability skills and Business Management topics at various levels. Whether the employee is new to the workforce or seeking to refine existing skills, our tailored courses are designed to boost confidence, employability and career growth.

The Business Research and Innovation Centre

The Business Research and Innovation Centre organises programs and activities aimed at helping researchers enhance their research skills and publish their work in reputable journals.

Vision

We envision a future where we empower graduates and individuals by equipping them with the skills, knowledge and competencies necessary for employment and thrive in their careers through knowledge of applied management. Mission

Our mission at AMRC is to empower fresh graduates, academics, and practitioners through collaboration and guidance and provide a supportive environment for new and existing researchers to overcome the obstacles involved in publishing their work. By providing resources, mentorship and opportunities, we aim to develop a community where aspiring researchers and practitioners and fresh graduates can develop their skills, share their knowledge and contribute significantly to their fields. To give recognition to qualified and experienced people through membership of the college as Affiliated, Associated members and Fellow members.
