Welcome to our inaugural online conference. As the first event organised by AMRC UK, we are excited to provide and facilitate a platform for key stakeholders to engage in critical discussions on key issues at the intersection of higher education and employment.
Join us for this important two day conference focused on tackling one of the most significant challenges in higher education and employment: the skills gap experienced by UK graduates. Under the theme The Gap Between Graduates’ Skills and Employers’ Expectations, this event will bring together academics, industry experts, employees, graduates looking for jobs and career professionals to discuss the ongoing difficulties in transitioning from university to the workforce and explore ways to bridge this divide. Additionally, the conference will include a call for papers, encouraging research on related topics to enhance understanding and inspire practical solutions.

Graduates looking for a job or underemployed – £30 per person
Group Discounts (20% off for groups of 5 or more from the same university or organisation)

We invite researchers, academics and professionals to submit papers on the conference themes listed below. This is an opportunity to contribute to an impactful dialogue about the challenges and explore solutions in the fields of higher education and employability. We encourage submissions that explore innovative approaches, share research findings and propose practical solutions to bridge the skills gap between graduates and employers.
